____________________________________________________ What a great New Years Gift... thanks Pack! Now that i have had a chance to sleep on it and of course i really mean woke up from passing out in celebration of our great victory over the sucking Bears. I hope that MM can put together the kind of game plan like the one against the Patriots so i don't have to crap my pants everytime we get in the red zone and come away with a field goal. That won't win the game against the Eagles this weekend. Maybe with Vick "the Dog Killer" having some time off he will be off his game like the Jets after their bye week when we beat them. Go Pack Go!!! Pkrbkr4evr nwpackerfan ____________________________________________________ Packers in the playoffs - Awesome! Beating the bears, alias division champs to get in - Fantastic! Vikes at the bottom of the division with Favre Retiring!!! Priceless!!! KevPack in MN ____________________________________________________ That was a tough game to watch from the couch, my daughter was at the game and she said it was awesome, every time the defense held the place went nuts. However, our failure to score from the one, the first time, dislodged a piece of polish sausage in my arteries, that had it not been for all the cheese in my bad cholesterol, would have surely traveled to my brain and fricken killed me. Here's hoping our offense picks her up a little in Philly! GO PACK GO!!! SCHRADES ____________________________________________________ Respect to the Chicago Bears. I know that is not a long suit for either side's supporters in the main, but that was WAY too hard. Hope they got us (Packers) further ready to deal. I remember Michael Vick having his way with us a few years back at Lambeau. I think he has grown up too, and with respect to him, sure would like to see him get a few mind rattling, confidence shaking blows, and right early too. With continued confidence in TT and MM, still tipping my hat to the greatest Packer talent I have ever seen since 65, the franchise resurrecting Brett Favre. While we mostly all are busy hating him bust out some of those old tapes for a little reminder of what that guy often did for us for so long, and deliciously, so many times takin right to the Bears, laser beams right thru their hearts and brains, their fans too. My favorite will always be the 99 yd strike to Brooks 20 yards aways from me in 95 I think, which I called seconds before, with some scrawny suburbanite screaming Fudge Packer in my ear for fifteen minutes prior. A howling blood thirsty Bear mob brought to total silence. Thank you Brett. Way to take that rein up Aaron, and further credit to my cyclops buddy TT with 80 per cent of Packer fans pounding him with thoroughly useless instant fix advice. And further for Brett as has been said so many times let he who is without sin (particularly where uber babes are concerned) cast the first stone. God I wish EVERYBODY'S dirty laundry could be aired so we could all be humbled like that Bear crowd in 95 was. Ray ____________________________________________________ So fucking pumped up my man! I was sweating nails durning the Bears game. Almost had a coronary. We get at least one more game! I love it! PLAYOFFS!!! PLAYOFFS!!! LET'S KICK SOME ASSES! GO PACK GO! Das. Wolf - Pissed in NorCal ____________________________________________________ Awesome job BJ, Eric, Hawk, Goode, Mathsay, O-Line (Bulaga's learning), and Special teams! So happy that lovie played all players the whole game. Thank you Spaulding, I knew you had 2 picks in you! I only wished that DD would have gotten the 83 yards he needed to have the Packers Pass Receiving Record. I'm hopeful he'll be with the team this Fall. Oh I was still looking at Jim's "Bears" photo... no wait, I stand by my comment - The Bears Still Suck!!! BK ____________________________________________________ I've read other places that fans are concerned that the queens beating the Eagles was a bad thing for Green Bay, because we'd rather play the Bears twice, but anticipating that Green Bay plays the Eagles in the first round of the play-offs and if that Game is Saturday January 8th and including yesterday's game against the queens, the Eagles will play 3 games in 12 days. Michael Vick poses an issue, but the rest of the team could be pretty worn out. Spew Off Speak Out...
____________________________________________Obviously when I said we'd beat NE up again, I'm talking a rematch of SB XX, not the regular season game, which you can not talk smack about since GB also lost to them. I had hoped for a rematch of the 2006 NFC Championship, but that's not happening. It's not like GB would survive Atlanta, but it would be very fun for them to play the NFCC in Chicago and be completely destroyed and annihilated. gUrt ____________________________________________ This week's Redneckulele treat - Go Pack - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCagCNCGytY KEG MAN ____________________________________________ Time to skin a bird. Just checking new brat recipes and like this one: http://www.food.com/recipe/best-brats-ever-160322 Just excited to see the Pack after so many injuries this year. I like our path to the Super Bowl. The only team that slightly scares me is NO. Time for Rodgers to get his first "W" and gain that experience to catapult the team for the next five years. Go Pack Go!!!! KevPack in MN ____________________________________________ "And then we go to Dallas (where we won during the regular season; how's that for a good omen?) and once again beat up New England to win our 10th championship." Uh, Patriots 36-bares 7 the way I remember it...... Acme Packers jersey showed up today, so ready for sunday, Capers has to be chomping at the bit with packages to inflict great bodily pain on the dog hater (who should still be in prison being pillaged by ray lewis) too cool if he can be replaced with kolb in a 180 twist of fate! GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!! vikingcrusher ____________________________________________ 2 major upsets today (sat) NERVOUS as ever for Sun Packers/Iggles. Wheres your dang magic 8-ball prediction as I check in past midnite? BK! Your not helpin me here! Lemondrop ____________________________________________ C'MON BOYS! Smoke some Eagle today! I hear it's tasty on a bagel with cream cheese! JONNY C ____________________________________________ http://blabberize.com/view?id=360665 http://blabberize.com/view?id=360666 GO PACK GO !!! K9UP ____________________________________________ Ok, I forgot Bucs and Falcons. Packers lose both of those. And 16-0 is no guarantee you're winning the SB as a certain team found out a few years ago. As for the Bears' 2011 opponents: Packers: Win Lions: Win Vikings: Win Falcons: Lose Panthers: Win Raiders: Win Chargers: Win Seahawks: Win @Packers: Win @Vikings: Win @Lions: Win @Saints: Lose @Buccaneers: Win @Broncos: Win @Chiefs: Win @Eagles: Win End result: 14-2 and #1 NFC seed. gUrt ____________________________________________ A little cranky there gurtie? Remember, just because the bares are the #2 seed it's no guarantee of making it to the championship game. I didn't expect a rout in this game but I did expect the Pack to win (and they did) So are you a mylanta falcons fan now? I remember a pretty close game this year and believe that we'll be ready for them! So it's a split this season 1-1, I hope the Pack do get the bares in the championship game, I have to like the Packs chances at that point! vikingcrusher____________________________________________ The Chicago Bears football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head coach Lovie Smith immediately suspended practice and called the police and federal investigators. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again this season. Roy Speed ____________________________________________ Props for another great season of Next Loser vids! Can't wait for the playoff edition... GreenBayLA ____________________________________________ Gurt ain't fooling nobody. I remember him saying that the Packers-Bears game would be a repeat of Raiders-Broncos. Only a _really_ bad team (like the Broncos were this season) would allow a division rival to put up 59 points in their own house. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Bears have ever scored that many points on GB's home turf in the 80-something years the two teams have been playing each other. Milwaukee Mike ____________________________________________ Hi everyone The interesting name of a site - www.packerpalace.com, how did you manage to get such interesting domain name? Very interesting site though you should have more categories, but current category this is good too. See you! Turltiree |

So lemme give a rundown of what GB's 2011 season will look like:Bears: Lose Lions: Win Vikings: Win Rams: Lose Saints: Lose Raiders: Lose Broncos: Win @Bears: Lose @Vikings: Win @Lions: Lose @Chiefs: Lose @Chargers: Win @Giants: Lose @Panthers: Win End result: 6-10 and third place behind the Bears and Lions (Vikes go in the basement again). gUrt *** gUrt, that's only 6-8; Buccaneers and Falcons you missed oh brilliant one! |
So when it's time to cut like a razor, pull out and use a chainsaw
instead:Bears: Win Lions: Win Vikings: Win Rams: Win Saints: Win Raiders: Win Broncos: Win Buccaneers: Win @Bears: Win @Vikings: Win @Lions: Win @Chiefs: Win @Chargers: Win @Giants: Win @Panthers: Win @Falcons: Win End result: 16-0 and 1st place ahead of duh Bears and Lions (Vikes go in the basement again). The stupidest trash talk I've been hearing is from the fans of the 7-9 wonderboys. Hopefully NO silences those yappers. Getting back to business, here's something Packers fans can suck on. Namely the fact that Jay Cutler has something Mister Rodgers does not, which is a division title. The NFC Championship will feature the Saints all right, only with them getting stomped in Soldier Field just like in '06. And then we go to Dallas (where we won during the regular season; how's that for a good omen?) and once again beat up New England to win our 10th championship. And that will suck for cheeseheads everywhere, given that this was supposed to be your year. You guessed that the Vikings would collapse (which proved accurate) and you'd win the division unopposed. Didn't occur to you that us 7-9, third-place Bears would have other ideas. ![]() gUrt ____________________________________________ gUrt, say it loud, say it proud, your team got stomped by the >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jim ____________________________________________ http://blabberize.com/view?id=357777 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rilkiBuozjY " GO PACK GO " ... K9UP ____________________________________________ Can't say it any better than the vikings sportswriter: In Green Bay, injuries aren't an excuse Uhmmm, sorry, but it's not over yet.....Bret: Massage therapists sue Favre, Jets over text messages, say they lost work after complaining Boz ____________________________________________ So what happened to that "We're going to blow away the Bears 45-10" nonsense I've been hearing? We're still the #2 seed. A Packers-Bears NFC Championship is possible (in our house), but rest assured if Philly doesn't get you, Atlanta will in the divisional round. When was the last time GB hosted a playoff game? Oh right, back when you still had that quarterback you hate so much. gUrt Hey gUrt, isn't that 45-10 nonsense is what your prediction was for a Bears win? The Packs last SB win is 12 years after duh Bears last SB win. Quit projecting your inadequacies.... anyway, you should read Jersey Al's take down - On Tilt: The Psychology of Lovie Smith's Texas Hold 'em Showdown Against the Packers on how losing to the Packers bodes ill-will for duh Bears to win a playoff game this year. Summed up, duh Bears boasted they were gonna play hard and beat the Packers to eliminate them from the playoffs. The close game kept duh Bears from actually resting any of their starters (don't want to be labelled as quitters) so it became a mano-a-mano game and duh Bears lost both physically and mentally to a lower seeded team. Suck on that thought, gUrt. Great article by Jersey Al, everyone should read it... and why do I keep getting that feeling that Green Bay is headed to New Orleans for the NFC Championship game... bun-bum-bum-bump! bun-bum-bum-bump! bun-bum-bum-bump buhmp buhmp Buhmp Bwahmp!!! When the Pack goes marching in... gonna drink my beer by the numbers, when the Pack goes marching in... eh! BeerKid ____________________________________________ |

Presagin' Packer Prognosticators...
|
Q: Are the Packers going to win their
playoff game in Philadelphia today against the Eagles? A: Signs Point To Yes. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
The Green Bay Packers after giving away a few
too many games this 2010 NFL season yet still find themselves in the
Playoff mix with a 10-6 record and the 6th seed. Which means a road
game today against the season opener Philadelphia Eagles. Repetition
will bode well for the Packers today. Every thing looks dead-even,
except for a slight advantage for the Packers in all areas Beer Kid |
Packers Prevail In Philly 21-16
Atlanta Falcons Up Next Saturday 7:00 CSTWow! I'm still a little speech-less... Packers controlled the whole game, but BeerScout and myself kept waiting for the Eagles to trigger some kind of amazing come-back. Didn't happen. Amazing! RB James Starks powers his way to a Packers rookie playoff record 123 yards on 23 carries. QB Aaron Rodgers kept within the game plan with short throws, setting up the big play to WR James Jones who dropped the pass. C'mon dude. Get your eyes checked, 'cuz the Pack didn't target you once with a pass after your drop. With the hard-to-love Bend But Don't Break™ Packers Defense keeping Eagles QB Michael Vick in check (for the most part) the Packers allowed their slight advantages in almost every facet of the game to preserve the win. Wow! The Green Bay Packers go to Philly, and put the beat-down on the Eagles 21-16 and move on to the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs by heading to Atlanta for the Saturday Night Showdown with the Falcons. A chance to redeem themselves for that earlier showing this season that despite almost no rushing yards, the Packers tied the game very late with a long TD drive, then lost in the last seconds of the game to an Atlanta FG. That won't happen this time... Go Pack Go! BeerKid - Still Pack 4 Life! |

___________________________________________________ Huge win. The drive that Rodgers left to take a 21-10 lead was a thing of beauty. That drive WAS the game. Rodgers knew he was going to get jacked, and threw a perfect pass to driver to convert the 1st third down, and he wouldn't be denied from there. Congrats, A-Tron--you managed to do something Brett Pevre couldn't do in his last 13 years in the league...win a road playoff game. On to Atlanta. BK, congrats to you too, for two things. First, A-Tron rocked. And I don't know how you do it, but you (maybe it's us, actually...) managed to attract yet another dim-witted troll who pretends to follow a division rival. I can't wait to see what kind of nimrod comes out of the woodwork next year, when the Lions finish ahead of the Queens and duh Bums. Maybe the next guy will figure out how to get his caregiver to help him count to 16. Maybe not, though. GO PACKERS!!!! Ruppert ___________________________________________________ First thing the game yesterday was awesome way to go James Starks, Aaron Rodgers and the whole GB defense. Second thing we took care of our 1st flock of birds now lets go get the 2nd Sat. night and if they get lucky and we take care of business we can get the 3rd in the form of the Seahawks the week after that. Who knows we might even have to get a 4th in Dallas with the Ravens in the Super Bowl. Last thing everyone needs to go to http://www.foxsportsbracket.com/ and vote for Antonio Freemans amazing catch and run to beat the Viqueens in OT on a Monday night as the top moment. You can vote as many times as you like so lets get this done. SO LETS GO PACK SHOOT DOWN SOME FALCONS!! Mike B. ___________________________________________________ Do you have any Great Moments in Packer History that have to do with the Atlanta Falcons? I love your site. I just found it about two weeks ago. I am 75 and a life long Packers fan. You do a wonderful job and thank you for that. Max W. -- Old Guys Rule. Proven Performance Hey Max, based upon your suggestion for a Great Moments... we do now. Thanks for stopping by. BK ___________________________________________________ Excited to see yesterday's Packers as a team come together and win a close game again. They got TD's instead of FG when they were in the red zone and that was the big difference in offense's. Our Defense was really strong minded and never gave up. It was pointed out that we are playing only BIRD teams so far and after the Seahawks beat Duh Bears we will have another Bird team to defeather after The Dirty Birds are left flightless this Staurday. Last but not least will be the Ravens in the Super Bowl! Go Pack!!!! nwpackerfan ___________________________________________________ Great WIN. Starks abd the Defense. James Jones is killing me, he has size and speed, but he will never, ever become the receiver he's suppose to be if he continues to drop passes like the one he dropped tonight and last week, and....Hopefully, Mike will keep his foot on the pedal against the Falcons and not attempt to run out the clock too soon, keep playing. Atlanta is a complete team we won't get away with accidently getting blocked into punts or dropping passes, got eliminate the mistakes. Live to play another Day, GO PACKERS GO! SCHRADES ___________________________________________________ You know it! Pack is gonna smoke the falcons in Hotlanta! Round 2, here we go! GO PACK GO! jake ___________________________________________________ What a game! Defense well done. Bye Bye Birdy's!!!! LiferPackfan ___________________________________________________ Sweet, time to put a couple more shells in the shot gun and bag a Falcon, I hear they taste like chicken. Go Pack! Rolland___________________________________________________ a Blonde Moment X 2 Lemondrop ___________________________________________________ A running game!!!!!! Are you F'ing kidding me!! I am stoked. We are going to be hard to stop. We even made it with MM going to conservative in the 4th quarter. CAMP ___________________________________________________ I work with a douchebag Philly fan that ran his mouth this whole week.So I went to bed early following the win so I could get up and be at work early.I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS EXCITED TO GO TO WORK ON A MONDAY..............EVER! Chris from FL ___________________________________________________ Beer Kid...Great win! Every time our Packers did something stupid, James Starks was there to pick them up. Did you see the smile on that kid's face? He was flat-out having fun. He's exactly the type of infusion our offense needs to make them more dangerous. He gives opposing coordinators another facet to game-plan against. Keep giving the rock to Starks! TPrindy ___________________________________________________ Man, that was sweet... Late night again, game finished over here at 40 mins past midnight AND we are getting the Falcons game live too. Never mind those 2000 birds which fell dead out of the sky, the Pack are killing the bigger birds, Atlanta here we come. Didn't Vick look intimidated? Go Starks! (and Pack!!!!) Bobby ___________________________________________________ Man few things in life are as great as a packers win but seeing as it was my bday yesterday that almost takes the cake , and idk where Eric Walden came from but the packers seem to be able to find these unknowns left and right . Next week should be a tuff game but if we can establish the run like we did against philly then look out NFL. Dan Solberg ___________________________________________________ Haven't heard from the TT bashers lately and isn't that a treat. Maybe they will quit opening their piehole and showing their football ignorance. dfamer ___________________________________________________ So far, we're even. Jay has a division title and Mister Rodgers a playoff win. Now prepare for the Dirty Birds to make another grilled cheese sandwich. Meanwhile, we've got a little revenge to exact on that other bird team. We had Vick figured out long before anyone else did. That's a 5-0 record the Bears own against him. gUrt___________________________________________________ http://blabberize.com/view?id=361079 http://blabberize.com/view?id=361080 PACK ATTACK - GO PACK ! K9UP ___________________________________________________ Tasty Bird. Yummy. Warning: The Pack Is Back >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jim ___________________________________________________ Great predictions beer kid. You seem to be spot on most times. Do you think we have a shot against Atlanta? What say you. *swig* E Gunn ___________________________________________________ Beer Kid, Go Pack Go! Your Philly prediction was pretty damn close. Since a falcon is a smaller and weaker bird than an eagle do you see the Pack prevailing by an even wider margin next Saturday night? JimD ___________________________________________________ I guess time to skin another bird. So, fricking excited!!!! We've been there as well, but this time maybe we can "dial things UP" a bit more. Maybe on 4th and 6 a challenge flag will come out...sorry to visit the past here, but I do like our chances here. Our "D" is still looking strong. This will be an exciting week and now we have the "Nance" factor. This adds a new dimension to the Pack, but we do need to catch those passes. Go Pack Go!!! For sure some brats and cheese next week...:0) KevPack in MN ___________________________________________________ Eagle has been cooked, now it's time to roast a falcon, followed by stewing a seahawk or some road kill kill bear. Keep it up Packers!!! Great win. Pack Fan in Texas ___________________________________________________ A run game - imagine what might happen if we establish a run game! Great defensive stand tonight against a dynamic offense. Lets get those Falcons a taste of road win... Davey in the Navy ___________________________________________________ Shot down the first bird-taking aim at the next.......bring on mylanta! I was pretty close to irony, little vickie almost got replaced w/ kolb-I'm sick of hearing about vickie.....wheres a sniper when you need one? Luckily the Jones drop at the end of the first half didn't come back to haunt us, that was a sure 7 pts. and a great way to end the first half.......alot of help from akers today (unbelievable).........Starks......AWESOME!!!!!!!!! no more putting the ball on the ground next week. My Cheesehead, adorned with scrolling LED boards that I had pre-programmed to display various messages, depending on the game situation. I was pleasant, wishing those around me good luck. When the Pack went ahead, the messages had little barbs. As the Pack pulled away, they got to be quite blunt. I remained pleasant and respectful as if nothing was scrolling atop my head. _______________________________________________________BREAKING NEWS: More Dead Birds Found in US. In another strange twist of fate, it has just been reported that The CDC is sending a team to Philadelphia as 53 DEAD EAGLES turned up on Lincoln Field. Speculation is the dead birds were subjected to repeated blunt force trauma. The CDC has issued a warning to Georgia as they fear a similar outbreak is looming for FALCONS in the area over the next 7 days. Atlanta Dirty Birds >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jim _______________________________________________________ I am very proud of A Rodg and the Hammer of God Big Play Clay. Our offense looked great, the D bailed MM out of the hot water again. Great win. I love it when a plan comes together. Also loved watching this kid Starks. Hope he does not read his press clippings this weeks and plays again like he did on Sunday. As for the TT bashers comment, I will lay off TT for a bit. BUT, I would like for someone who is pro TT to name a team in the modern FA era that has won a Super Bowl without adding at least one or two key High Profile FA in the off season or during the season. Name one. Please. That is all I am saying about TT. Ron Wolf added Keith Jackson, Sean Jones, Don Beebe, and Andre Rison (late season after Brooks went down) just to name a few the last time we won the big one. It just makes sense. At least act like you care. And again, admit you are wrong and CUT FRICKING JUSTIN HARRELL. I want this team to win just as much as anyone of you. I just get so angry win Coach Turtle pulls into his shell after he gets a lead. Capers and the Defense has been bailing him out all year long. Please, Mike, don't pull up, keep the pedal down and kick the living snot out of this bonehead Matty Ice. That will go a long way in my books to earning my respect. No more giving up at the end of the half and going to the locker room. Lombardi would have not walked off the field with 35 clicks left on the scoreboard. Presagin' Packer Prognosticators...
|
Q: Will Green Bay Win Their Divisional Round
Playoff Game In Atlanta Against The Falcons? A: Outlook Good. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Down to the last 8 teams in the Playoffs, I'm
expecting the Steelers, Patriots, duh Bears and the Packers to
advance to the next round. With the Packers, have they learned the lesson of the last game they had in the Georgia Dome, and I don't mean the fumble at the goal-line, I mean the 20-some yards of rushing from the running backs. To borrow a line from an esteemed prognosticating colleague, "all signs point to yes". We did see a glimmer of what fresh legs + James Starks can do to make the game easier for QB Aaron Rodgers last week against the Eagles. So expect to see more of Starks, the re-appearance of WR Greg Jennings, and the Packers eeking out a victory on the road. Something like a 23-20 game this time (if not more - some signs point to a 30-20 Packers win, depending on whether the Packers Defense scores at the end of the game). Go Pack Go! Beer Kid |

Packers Humiliate #1 Seed Falcons 48-21...
Next Stop On The SuperBowl Bound Bus: ChicagoThe Pack is peaking at the right time, handing the Falcons a humiliating loss at home 48-21 behind the passing of QB Aaron Rodgers and a stifling defense led by LB Clay Matthews (2 sacks) and CB Tramond Williams (2 INT's, 1 for TD). The Packers now advance to the NFC Championship game in Chicago, this upcoming Sunday at 2:00pm CST against our hated rival duh Bears. Go Pack Go! BeerKid - Always Pack 4 Life! |

Your game plan did not include any of your patented 'lets try the QB sneak two times in a row' stuff. Nice. I am this close to almost liking you. Go Packers!!!!!! nwpackerfan _______________________________________________________ "Down to the last 8 teams in the Playoffs, I'm expecting the Steelers, Patriots, duh Bears and the Packers to advance to the next round." Good prediction; all but one of those proved correct. Too bad we won't see a rematch of SB XXXI, but darn that Jets defense was good. Try as he might, Tom Brady just couldn't get to any of his receivers. Could we beat the Jets or Steelers in the SB? We shut out the former in their own house, but we haven't played the latter this season, so it's hard to say how well the Pack would fare against them. Milwaukee Mike Hey Milwaukee Mike, my prediction looks OK on the surface, but I guarantee you if I had put any money down all four teams would have lost... BK _______________________________________________________ I knew it would come down to this. And before you start yapping about 10-3, that was in GB. You defended your home turf; good for you. But you're coming to our house. And what happened last time you came to our house? That's right. Bears 20, Packers 17 (and 18 penalties) gUrt Hey gUrt, you and duh Bears came specifically to GB to beat the Pack and eliminate them from the Playoffs. They failed. Not only did they fail, they now have their hated rival coming to town for the NFC Championship game. What have duh Bears done lately to justify SB dreams, oh yeah, they beat a team with a losing record. The Bears Still Suck! The Pack is getting ready to hop on the Super Bowl Bound Bus. "A game that requires the constant conjuring of animosity." |
Reason #57 To Hate duh Bears...
|
Reason #57 - Vince Lombardi told his players as he stood on the goal line during warm-ups that they "had to" dislike everything about the Bears, including George Halas. "Lombardi," Willie Davis was quoted saying, "made it seem like (Curly) Lambeau never left." |
Reason #29 To Hate duh Bears...
|
|
Reason #29 - When the Bears experienced a financial pinch in 1933, the Packers loaned George Halas and the Bears half of the total sum of the gate receipts from their game that season in Chicago totaling $1,500 so Halas could meet his payroll. The loan helped save the Bears franchise from near financial disaster. Curly Lambeau should have instead told George Halas to "take a leap." |

Reason #11 To Hate duh Bears...
|
Reason #11 - Bears fans claim that their team is older than the Packers. Truth is, the Bears did not organize until March 1920. The Packers can arguably trace their lineage as far back as 1896. Green Bay's first game as the "Packers" was in 1919, one full year before the Bears organized. The Packers are also the oldest team in the NFL to have ever played in the same city and under the same name. |
Spew Off Speak Out....
Does anyone know if there are any injuries from the Falcons game? and are the Packers practicing outdoors? NWPackerfan Hey NwPackerfan... Coach McCarthy is on record somewhere saying they were going to open the doors for some practices and go outside for one 11 on 11 drill... BK ___________________________________________________ I showed the Bears Still Suck video to the Bear Fan here at work. I can't even get him to bet on the Bears against me, geee think he also knows that the Bears Still Suck? I am sad, I can see all the roving bands of Packer fans going over the border into Illinois to get bets off the Bear fans, I can't even get one little lousy bet from a Bear fan here in Albuquerque. And speaking of sucking, that will surely be the case for millions of dollars going north to Wisconsin after the game. I am just waiting for the Governor of Illinois to issue a ban on Bears fans betting on them, their state budget is screwed as it is already. Go Pack Tom Rolland Albuquerque, New Mexico ___________________________________________________ What a complete and total beatdown. It was like an ant under a boot heel. How would you like to be the Bears and have to sit through the film of that game? Duh Bums tried like hell to keep us out of the playoffs in week 17 but just weren't good enough. Thanks for letting us in, Chicago, so we can beat you like a stepchild on Sunday. It's your own damn fault you're going to be golfing next Monday. Quit huffing Scotch Gard and see what's as plain as day to the rest of the world: The Packers are better, period. Ant under boot heel. The Bears didn't stand a chance and maybe they didn't know it, but Cheesehead Nation knew it. Reality's a bitch, Chicago. Green Bay is going to the Super Bowl to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. Go Pack Go! One thing that's funny about listening to Chicago sports radio after the game is that:
Green Bay drags out and beats down duh Bears 21 - 14 at Soldier Field in Chicago, embarrassing an alleged tough-guy team on it's home turf, that was below standard even for painted dirt, and pave their way for an appearance in Super Bowl XLV against Pittsburgh. Great Moments In Packers History...
|
|
2011 - |
The Green Bay Packers embarrass their long-time hated rivals duh Chicago Bears at Soldier Field by winning the NFC Championship Game by a final score of 21-14 and advancing to Super Bowl XLV to face-off against the Pittsburgh Steelers. |
Great Quotes In Packers History...

Packers Draft Position Plummets...
|
Oh barf! Due to complications completely within their control, the Green Bay Packers in the last several weeks have allowed their NFL Draft positioning to fall dramatically. Originally at season's end, they were already way down tenuously hanging on at the 25th position, and now the Packers have dropped down farther near bottom and the basement to the 31st position, currently in a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers (pending tie-breaker game Feb.6th) for the worst 1st round positioning of any team in the NFL. Think of that, the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and duh Chicago Bears all get to draft before the Packers get their chance to select a player. In fact, every single NFC Team gets to go before the Packers get to go. To borrow a well known phrase from Vince Lombardi - "What the hell's going on out here". I'm upset, terribly, terribly upset! Next thing you know this Packers management team will scheme their way into the 32nd draft position, dead last, allowing every single team in the NFL to get the chance to draft a player before them. What are they thinking??? Who's running this green and gold show. They should be fired and sent packing. They don't know what their doing, how could they. Th-th-they're ruining everything! I wanted the Packers to draft up there next to the Vikings, maybe even before them and that's not happening now... and I'm upset about that. BeerKid - Still Pack 4 Life! |

Speak Out Spew Off...
Packers Organization relents, will allow all 15 players on Injured Reserve to be available for the Super Bowl XLV Team Photo in Fort Worth Texas. In other news, it's damn funny to listen to Chicago's sports radio guys after ripping on QB Jay Cutler all season long are being forced to defend him from the National sports radio guys. Hilarious!! In some-what related news, the Car Salesman who was fired for wearing his Packers tie to work at an official Bears sponsor dealership. Seems that the thousands of calls supporting his firing were offset by the 20 Packers fan who wanted to buy a car from him. Even more hilarious. Go Pack Go!!! BeerKid - Always Pack 4 Life! |

__________________________________________ McCarthy calls photo complaints a 'poor decision' GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy isn't thrilled with the way a couple of his injured players chose to express their disappointment about potentially being left out of the Super Bowl team photo, saying they made a "poor decision" when they complained about it in public. How about the Packer organization admitting they made a bad decision not including these players to begin with!! CAMP

The number to call is: 920-569-7500 We don't need this type of distraction and bad press and our players on IR deserve to be recognized. PACKER PAUL - Minneapolis, MN. __________________________________________ Someone may have already mentioned this but GB's biggest advantage is the game is played indoors and not at Hines field. Take a look at the Falcons game! The Pack is belt for speed and indoors is where they shine oh so very brightly. I think that will be why they win 27-17! Bears Still Suck...
Hey BeerKid, I was given this handy little device from a BEARS fan, (go figure). His dad died about 10 years ago and my buddy found it when he was going through his dad's stuff. I believe it is a one of a kind, I love to pull this baby out EVERY time we play da Bears!!! Funny how many Bears fans like playing with this thing. I call him "Woody the BEAR f**ker". "Woody" was out in full force yesterday at the neighbors house full of Bears fans. Can you put this on your website? I am sure all of your bloggers would enjoy seeing this little bit of video. Now I just gotta turn the Bear into some sort of Stealer, maybe just put a curly wig on it for Troy P? Mike A. |
