Q: After the replacement referee debacle in
Seattle, are the Packers ready to play this Sunday? A: All Signs Point To Yes. Q: Based on that answer, do you expect the Saints to be 0-4 at the end of today? A: Outlook Good. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Yeah that was an ugly finish to last week's
game, but today the 1-2 Packers get the 0-3 Saints at Lambeau and
one would think that the Packers are pissed off enough to blow New
Orleans off the field.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking... The Packers offense is at least equal if not a little better than the Saints offense. The Pack's defense is definitely better than New Orleans defense, and with the Ghost of Lombardi hanging over the field that should lead to a game that's close early on, but then stretches out into a 33-17 Green Bay win. Q: Will the NY Giants come into Lambeau and
beat the Packers in todays playoff match-up? A: My Sources Say No. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
A lot of prognosticators are pointing out
that New York gave Green Bay a good game the last time these 2
teams met (in New Jersey) which resulted in a late comeback win
for Aaron Rodgers and the Packer offense. I just don't see how
that game has relevance for today's game at Lambeau Field. The
Packers are at home, they will play better, and eventual out-score
(that's all that matters) the Giants and wait for next week's
playoff game.
On the Frozen Tundra, New York will find out what the true meaning of "Discount Double-check" is. Packers beat the Giants 34-24 in game that will not be as close as the final score might suggest. Go Pack Go Start The Super Bowl Roll!!! Beer Kid |

Q: Are duh Chicago Bears going to win today
in Green Bay against the Packers? A: Don't Count On It. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
One would think that after last week's near
embarrassment (I can give some credit to the Chiefs Defense) in
Kansas City that the Packers ripe for the pickin' by duh Bears.
You would think wrong. One might think that the Packers have a
weakened offensive line that could be exploited by duh Bears
defensive line. But again, you would be wrong. TJ Lang played most
of last year as the Right Tackle and well, it's duh Bears, and the
Packers are looking to clinch the 1st seed and home field
advantage through-out the NFC Playoffs. Look for the Packers to
shine.
Last time these 2 teams met at Soldier Field, duh Bears made it look closer than it really was in losing by 10 points. Today in historic Lambeau Field, the Packers will once again strike fear unto duh Bears and into the rest of the NFC playoff contenders... Packers stomp on duh Bears 31-12 and throw their carcasses down in front of the green-n-gold fireplace to where all good rugs and door-mats belong. Go Pack Go! Start The Playoff Roll! Go Pack Go! Q: With the Oakland Raiders coming to
Lambeau Field this Sunday, will the Packers extend their record to
13-0? A: It Is Certain. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
With the Packers offense sitting 4th in the
league at 405 yards a game, and the Raiders sitting 12th at 367
yards you might think this game could be a close one. Throw in
that the Packers defense is down there at 31st giving up 398 yards
per game and Oakland is at 26th at 373 yards you might really
believe this game is going to be a close one. I don't see that way
at all.
Green Bay is going to roll the Raiders at Lambeau Field and improve their record to 13-0 this season by releasing their inner beasts. Packers 39, Raiders 13. Go Pack Go Make It 13-0!!! Beer Kid |

Q: Today, will the Green Bay Packers win
their 12th game of the season against the New York Giants? A: It Is Decidedly So. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Packers head to New York to play the Giants
in New Jersey and just like in their previous 18 games, the
Packers, just like you after a snowfall having to go out and
shovel off your driveway, will win their 12th game this year with
little trouble and clinch the divisional title in the NFC North.
Green Bay takes care of their business and handles New York 29-16. The game will look close, but not really be close. Hey Der! Go Pack Go! Make it 12-0!!! Beer Kid |

Q: By claiming that the Packers are not good
enough to be a 10-0 team, does that mean that the Lions and
Ndamukong Suh are not good enough to be a 7-3 team? A: As I See It, Yes. Q: Will the Green Bay Packers prevail in Detroit this upcoming Thanksgiving Day? A: Without A Doubt. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Finally! A Thanksgiving Day game that
features a 10-0 team vs another 10-0 team. What? The home-team
Lions aren't 10-0... but... but their players are claiming that
they are in the same class as the Packers. Yeah, I don't believe
it, and by all the faux-boasting from Detroit, they don't believe
it either. Packers have the edge in most of the match-ups, the
Lions have the edge... ummm, actually they don't have much of an
edge anywhere. Wait, well, their coach shows more deranged passion than
our coach. If that counts...
None the less, like every single week this year, expect the Packers to play down to the competition, and make the Thanksgiving Day morning game interesting. With the Pack scoring last, just like last week's game, the Packers come out of Detoilet with a 35-20 win. Go Pack Go!!! It's going to be 11-0! Beer Kid |

Q: Can the Tampa Bay Buccaneers make a game
of it at Lambeau Field this Sunday? A: Don't Count On It. Q: So the Green Bay Packers are about to go 10-0? A: Most Likely. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
It's been said that on "Any Given Sunday"
an underdog team like the Buccaneers can beat the better team like
the Packers, but it won't be this Sunday, it won't be at Lambeau
Field, The Pack is not looking ahead, so it's not happening in
this game. The Packers have a defense that's starting to find it's
groove, the Packers offense hasn't been out of their groove yet
this year, the Pack's special teams has contributed more
positively this year to the team's wins than previous years...
what can I say.
The Packers will have Tampa Bay's number, I would put it down in the 38-13 range... Packers win, go to 10-0 and get ready for the short week that brings Thanksgiving. Beer Kid |

Q: Are The Vikings going to be able to knock
The Packers off-stride in Green Bay Monday night? A: My Reply Is No. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Suck for Luck, Viking Snowy Air Blasts, Lambeau Wins Chilled Beer Calls My Name BeerKu |
|
Have the Vikings improved enough to beat
the Packers after losing to the Pack just a few weeks ago? No.
Packers Offense will roll at home, which leaves the Vikings trying
to chase them in the race to over 30 points. Expect the Packers
defense to look much better this week than they did last week down
in San Diego.
I just don't see a way for the Vikes to stay in the game this Monday night. I'm going to put down a 31-11 final score. Go Pack Go Make It 9-0!!! Beer Kid |

Q: Are the Packers about to go to 8-0 by
winning down in San Diego against the Chargers this week? A: Signs Point To Yes. Q: Does it help-out the Pack that BeerScout will be in attendance? A: Yes! Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
According to my deeply researched analysis,
the Packers coming off the bye week should be healthy and ready to
roll. That's a plus for the Pack. The Chargers are coming off a
shortened week with their last game being the devastating loss
where QB Phil Rivers fumbled the game away in the closing minutes.
That's a minus for the Bolts. The Packers with QB Aaron Rodgers
can be overwhelming, another plus. The Chargers are looking to
save their season, but they appear to me be underwhelming, so
let's mark that as a minus.
Simply put, the Packers are going to out-pass, out-rush, out-special-team the Chargers and come out of San Diego with a 27-17 win. I'll use one of my favorite lines, the Bolts will score last to make the game look interesting. Go Pack Go Make It 8-0!!! Beer Kid |

Q: Will The Green Bay Packers beat-up and
get their all-time 700th win against the Ponder led Minnesota
Vikings this Sunday? A: Yes -- Definitely. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
So the Vikings benched Donovan McNabb and
are going to start their rookie QB Christian Ponder in his place
against the Packers this weekend. Not going to matter. The Packers
have the better offense, defense and team and chances are that
it's going be a rout of near-epic proportions.
Yes, the Packers will roll against a hated NFC North rival and repeatedly kick a team that's down on the ground flopping around. Sure, DE Jared Allen will get a sack or two, sure QB Ponder will look better than McNabb, but in the end, the Green Bay Packers are going win big. 39-10 big. Beer Kid |

Q: In the upcoming game between the unbeaten
Green Bay Packers and the winless St. Louis Rams at Lambeau Field,
will the Rams be able to keep the final score within 21 points? A: My Sources Say No. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
The Packers are healthy (except for OT Chad
Clifton - ably replaced with Marshall Newhouse) and cruising along
at 5-0. The Rams are beaten up beyond the usual for NFL teams,
with plans to start former Packer LB Brady Poppinga and CB Al
Harris. This usually adds up and points to a blow-out game and a
part of me wants to suggest a 51-3 final score.
Although Packer head coach Mike McCarthy has played conservative before and suggesting that he has a new "pedal to the metal" attitude towards the offense this year. I'm seeing a more conservative game plan from him this Sunday. More running with James Starks and Ryan Grant, more play from backup players in most positions on the defense to keep the starters healthy, more punting and establishing more control of the game clock. So it should be more like a 30-14 Packers win with 3 TD's and 3 FG's. I'd really prefer that 51-3 score though... Beer Kid |

Q: Are the Packers going to go into Atlanta
and beat the Falcons this Sunday night? A: Reply Hazy, Try Again. Q: Are the Falcons going to get their revenge and win against the Packers October 9th in Georgia? A: Very Doubtful. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
No one reads an inksplotch better than I,
and this one... heh, this one clearly states the Packers will
control the game and outscore the Falcons in a wild unpredictable
game with far-reaching consequences for the NFC playoffs.
Packers win 38-31 and improve their record to 5-0. Rory T. Est |
|
Can the Falcons control the game by running
the ball and keeping QB Aaron Rodgers and the Packers high-scoring
offense off the field? No, not really. Will the Packers defense
show up and finally start shutting opposing offense down like we
saw last year? Well, maybe.
My guess is that the Packers do start playing football like the defending SB-XLV Champs that they are, and go down into Atlanta and hand the Falcons their asses on a plate. Packers win 34-24 with the Birds scoring a TD late to make it look close. Beer Kid |

Q: Are the Packers about to humiliate the
Broncos this Sunday at Lambeau Field? A: It Is Certain. Q: Seriously??? A: Without A Doubt. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
The Packers are facing off against the
Denver Broncos and this might be the trap-game that everyone
watches out for. Fear not. The Donkeys might have a rising star
with LB Von Miller, but they also have some fallen stars who won't
be playing this week. What's that you say, the Pack won't have RB
Ryan Grant and RT Brian Bulaga either... Not going to matter, and
this includes Tim Tebow or No-Tebow.
It's only NFL week 4, but 'm getting tired of repeating this, the Packers Offense is better, the Pack's Defense is better, the overall team is better than what the Bronco's can put on the field of play. There may be a "Any Given Sunday" rule out there somewhere, but not this Sunday in Green Bay. Packers win 38-12. Beer Kid |

Q: Will Bears QB Jay Culter be as
effective...errh, non-effective against the Pack in this Sunday's
match-up as he was last year in the NFC Championship game? A: Outlook Good. Q: Will duh Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field this Sunday? A: Outlook Not So Good. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Now it's time for the NFL's longest running
rivalry to re-new itself for 2011 and it's hard not to look back at
the 2 games that happened last January. Will this game be as
low-scoring as those two games? Probably not. We've seen the yards
that the Packers defense has been giving up so far, so you can
expect duh Bears to try to pile on some more. Am I worried? No. For
the 3rd game in a row, the Packers have the better Offense, the
Packers have the better defense, heck, the Packers have the better
team. Our Buhmp-buhmp ba-da-da-buhmp! Go Pack Go! Beer Kid |

So this week the Packers are up against a
rookie QB who may choose to take off running when the defensive pass
rush in on. It's not going to matter, the Packers are a much better
team than the Carolina Panthers, fans are expecting a blow-out that
might reach biblical proportions, others are worried about the
proverbial trap game. Expect the blow-out. Packers are going to roll
38-10 or so... Go Pack Go! Beer Kid |

Q: Will the Packers win tonight on Thursday
Night Football against the New Orleans Saints? A: It is decidedly so. Magic Gold G-Ball |
|
Finally! The NFL football season is back with
our Green Bay Packers taking on the New Orleans Saints on the
Thursday night opener. Forget about the Saints and their team
off-season workouts - really forget about it, unless you think that
players running around at half-speed without the coaches screaming
at them about their mistakes somehow makes you better - I don't. Packers offense is better than the Saints offense, the Packers defense is better than the Saints defense. The Packers are better than the Saints. Expect the score to be something like Packers 31 Saints 24 and it's only that close because the Saints will be the team to score last. Go Pack Go!
