Speak Out Spew Off...

Fatoak that is some choice stuff. Either that was an intentional mis spelling or the guy you are reaching for is Randy Wright. God knows any team in history, including the 62 Packers, 85 Bears or 70's Steelers could make a place for ex Cowboy Randy White. One thing I will always give Randy Wright is omg could that man take a beating. I recall Dan Hampton absolutely brutalizing him and my amazement that he kept on getting back up, when I knew full well we had someone equally incompetent behind him, just stay down man. Eddie Lee Ivery would have been (I know woulda coulda shoulda)one ace back if he had not got a brutal knee injury in what I recall to be the first game of a season, maybe his first game ever.Ditto Tim Lewis at db in the mid eighties, first game, out forever. I remember Ivery in the pre season rookie year and he looked spectacular. I have often wished someone could do a chart of relative injuries in the NFL, in the 70's I feel the Packers would have aced everyone, some of those teams that left training camp were highly competitive, lots of seasons like this one, without the depth.

Why can other teams win with a 2nd or 3rd string quarterback ( like the Lions or the Patriots when Brady was lost for the whole year ) but no one thinks the Packers can win unless the #1 is playing? I've heard this crap ever since Favre started his stupid streak.

With Matt Flynn and our running game, the Pack has no chance of getting another win. We'd be better off going with Randy White and Eddie Lee Ivory.

Oui Vey BK -- nailbiting season all year, Games have not had enough time on the clocks, ????'s flow thru my head with Active rosters, finding laughs with them Mudducks & their season to break up the stress tho. My thoughts on all of this? Continue On Packer Fans !!

The economy sucks, the elected leaders, our health or loved family or friends health do too.... but remember this, this holiday season, if you can bring joy and hope or laughter into 1 person's life, then there truly 'is a Santa Claus!'. As I understand it, the Bears lost their homefield advantage over NE because most of the fans stayed at home due to the weather. Bunch of babies.

BK,,, Cmon, that was a serious inquiry. Let me get the ball rollin, then. This is for the semi's in my league. Do I bench, I don't believe I'm sayin this,,, Greg J because of Matt Flynn and go with um,,, that Branch guy instead?

heyjt

HeyJT, yeah, I was afraid that you were serious... I'd stick with Jennings because I think that Woodhead and Welker will give the Packers more problems... Is Welker still playing? I don't even know... which leads to your big problem in asking me info about the NFL... I only follow the Green Bay Packers... Love to hear that the Vikings, Bears, Cowboys and Lions lose... not much else in info gets inside the radar.   BK

Hey BK/BS,,,Have you ever thought about adding a Fantasy Football page to your page? You guys know ball and the so-called experts on the web know nada,,,Just a thought!

You guys Rock! Go Pack!!!

HeyJT

HeyJT, hahah hah, eh. What are you, a comedian? There's almost an exact zero chance that we will ever have a fantasy football page. But thanks for asking...   BK

The TCF field will not be rock hard as they're using heaters on it. Luckily for us, we're an outdoor team and Minny isn't.

gUrt

Hey gUrt, I watched duh Bears as an alleged outdoor team when they played the Patriots. Missed that part of "outdoor team" that your referring too... Looks like Packers vs Patriots is heading for the exact same weather. We can compare notes afterwards, looking forward too it.  BK

This weeks Rockwood Lodge gets my vote as "THE BEST"... so far... Great work BK & BS!

As a football fan, I'm glad to see that the vikings and bears are playing outside. Here's to praying that it's really cold and the field is rock hard, so there's plenty of dislocated joints, broken bones, and pulled muscles.

Boz

Hey Boz, thanks, it's one of those BeerScout thinks the car commercial should be used (apparently he hadn't seen 17,000 times like the rest of us) and then I spend days trying to figure out how to mash into something else that ends up being timely, funny, clever, etc... once is awhile it works out. I also would like lots of beat-up unable to play the rest the year players from duh Bears too. TBSS   BK

Sit Rodgers this week and let him heal......... I notice gurtie is always on here.........just come out of the closet already, we all know your a Packers fan.

vikingcrusher

Hey Vikingcrusher... gUrt uses lot's of different computers to post, so who knows. One thing, it's pretty much S.O.P. for our images to show up in other teams forums by Packer posters, so it's not unusual for that to bring non-Packer posters back here to Packer Palace.   BK

The following are quotes from McCarthy's post game and Monday pressers, and followup from yours truly:

"We played poor on offense today, and that starts with me." Love to hear THIS shit, five years into your Packers head coaching career.

"I didn’t see any signs of this during the week of preparation; I thought the week of preparation was a good week." You thought wrong, you blind mother****er.

"Offensively we performed poorly, and that starts with me. I did not probably do a good enough job during the course of the week." Probably? PROBABLY?

Five years in, people. Five years into it.

I just want to say this. I'm not going to even bother reading every other comment below me, they're all the same after every single loss. In my eyes, all of you people who praise the coaching staff when the Packers win and bash them when they lose ARE NOT FANS. Why aren't you all in the front office? Because apparently you know the solutions to all of the problems! Oh that's right, all of you have only been "fans" since the Favre era and never saw what a really poor coaching staff looked like. Remember the 70's, 80's? One bad loss and everyone is back to bitching. I'm not saying they didn't get out-coached, because they did. However, this stuff happens with every coaching staff, every year. Maybe they show up against New England this weekend. You never know. We who watch with confidence and bear through the ugly with our heads held high are the true Lambeau Faithful.

Kansas PackHawk

Hey PackHawk, the reason the complaints are always the same over the last 5 years is that we have coach who's convinced himself that the Pack are a power running team, when in fact, the Zone Blocking System is what has castrated the Packers running game a long time ago. Besides, you're at website where everyone bitches whether the Packers win, lose or draw.   BK

Hey Beer Kid, Beer Scout, and Packer Nation, Is this the fourth year in a row that farv ended his season (hopefully career) with a pick?

Boz

Hey Boz, I don't think his last play with the Jets was an INT, it was weird play where the ball was batted back to BF and then he lateraled the ball to one of his RB's for a loss... sorry, didn't bother to try to google the correct answer.   BK

It's like this. If Rodgers plays against NE, the Packers lose 45-7. If Matt Flynn plays, they lose 59-0. Meanwhile, us Bears have to go and make some purple grape jelly on Monday.

gUrt

Hey gUrt, nice... here I was thinking that the Packers are going win 21-20 no matter who's playing QB for the them... enjoy Minnesota's great outdoors on MNF.  BK

The Vikes have to go to Detroit again on January 2nd. After they lose, us Bears will be the only ones able to say that we entered the Lions' Den and lived to tell about it. Meanwhile, we've got to take care of Minny first. They don't even know where they're playing next week.

Might I suggest Soldier Field?
