Speak Out Spew Off...
![]() _________________________ I could not sit still for the whole Jets game on Sunday, but the final score does not give much indication of how "average" that Favre looked. He was throwing balls all over the place with several of them landing squarely into the arms of the opposing team. If I was a guessing man, I would think that Favre needs glasses. There is nothing else that could explain why he tossed a couple of them right to a guy wearing the wrong jersey. I think the Packers knew what they were doing when they tried to convince Favre to stay retired. His skills have slipped even though he can still make it work some of the time. That might make him better than a lot of guys playing QB in the NFL, but he is no longer one of the best in the business. draftfan _________________________ BF already has 11 interceptions and 2 fumbles lost. He also has 15 touchdowns. Of those 15 six were in 1 game. This is after 7 games. I doubt he does 6 TDs in a game again. So far the numbers don't look all that good for BF going forward. By the way, the last TD against KC, he got lucky. fbg3 Hey fbg3, yes, it's interesting that both former Packer QB's BF and JT O'Sullivan lead the league in INT's at 11. BK _________________________ Maybe I have too much free time but I perused the list of entries in the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, I know this isn't Curly, Bart or Brett I'm talkin' about but is anyone else surprised Chuck Cecil is not in there? I am presuming Sterling Sharpe went in at the first chance, but I don't remember him ever going in either. I remember he did not get along with Green Bay media, I am going to look at the list to see if he is in. But Cecil, maybe not the same talent level as linebacker Nitschke, but the exact same spirit. Ray _________________________ So watching the "sissy-slap fight" on MNF last night,I like the match up with houston/tennessee/titan/oilers or who ever they are now especially with some of our better defensive players coming back! GO PACK GO Beat the who-ever-they-ares'... yeah. Big Ern said so!!!! _________________________ Wow.... there sure is a lot of spewing goin on about this alleged 'leak of info' thing with BF and Detroit. C'mon. Give BF a little credit. I mean, really. If he seriously did talk to the Lions, do you really think he would share knowledge of the Packers game schemes with the lowly Lions?! The lions can't beat a cold, let alone another team. Don't you think if he really did do something like that, it would be with the Vikings? Especially since he had been in taks with them before he was traded? I'm not saying he's perfect, but good grief, he did give 16 years of his career to the Packers. In the lean years and otherwise. I'm sure if he wanted to, he would've demanded to be traded long ago if there was that much bitterness.... but no, he stuck it out. As far as I'm concerned, until something CONCRETE comes out in the press that BF is truly turning tail on the Pack, I will continue to wish him well in NY, even root for the Jets--especially if they're playing one of our NFC North rivals -- (in a Forrest Gump tone).... and that's all I have to say about that.... GO PACK GO!! Come out of the bye-week and kick some butt down in Tennessee!! Lady K _________________________ Hey Packer Palace, is this bye week unusual since the Bear cubs and BiQueens are off too? BeerScout Hey BS, why don't you just go ahead and type out everything you made me look up (I happened to be sitting at the computer) on the question, which is, it's unusual for 3 teams (Packers, Vikes, Bears) in the same 4 team division to have a bye week together, it's the only time this will happen this year. Hey Button, we like goofy spoofs as much as anybody, so we eagerly await for November... which due to my delays in updating... is only a few days away now. BK _________________________ What Ray said. Without Favre helping sell all those Luxury Boxes... that new stadium wouldn't even exist! jonny c Hey Jonny C, you forgot to sign your post with BFF! (Brett Favre Forever!) but thanks for checking in with an update on BF's honesty. BK _________________________ Seems like the Favre thing has been dying down a little bit this weekend, I want to believe Brett's denial. I think he is a bit guilty though, just shows his level of bitterness towards TT. Hopefully time will heal on all sides. ThePackerMan _________________________ |

Presaging Packer Prognosticators...
| It's been a long 2 weeks since we last heard from our presagin' Packers Prognosticators, and this week we're featuring an undefeated matchup between Girl With 3 Beers and Chief Cheesehead, a new look for the Green Man, and long-time resident BeerKid spews some more pre-game prognosticatin' that absolutely no one bets their life with, so hold on to your Packer helmets boys and girls, it's time to bring you our fine tradition of providing Packers football analysis from somewhere far out there and way out beyond the back forty there eh, and this week we have breakdowns from: |
![]() | This week's a tough one to call, Tennessee makes some really great Whiskey, and they have a really cute raccoon mascot, but their QB is "Brett Favre Old" and well, it's the young guys on the field that catch my eye, and I like the Packers to have the energy this week to knock off the undefeated Titans. Drink 'Sconi Beer and Go Pack!!! Girl With 3 Beers | ![]() | I've spent a long week inhaling the vapors from my favorite Smokin' Hot Cheddar Fondue (add jalapenos) that I always keep ready to serve, and peering through the veil of sweat constantly rolling over my eyes, I'm bending Time for something really useful, and according to the vapors, the raiding party from GB will prevail down at the battle for ol' Rocky Top. Chief Cheesehead |
![]() | When you try out to be Extispicy, and throw in a little bit of Alphitomancy, and your end result comes up un-even, well it's time to go with the old world Wisconsin stand-by to get your divination done correctly. Yes, I'm referring to Tyromancy. I've rolled out the block of extra-aged cheddar cheese to give my analysis the right taste and texture... and America's Dairyland makes the very best cheese. Go with the Packers. The Green-Man | ![]() | With over 2 weeks to dust-off and polish up the Magic Crystal Ball, to get it correctly calibrated for the green and gold divination that will tell us something about this week's game against the Titans in Tennessee. It simply said that the Defenses are matched up fairly well, which will invite a low-scoring game, and the Titans are going to try and grind out a win by running the ball, but the Packers have the explosive Offense and Special Teams, so the now relatively healthy Packers should win on the road, 23-16. You can count on the Ball. Beer Kid |
Coming off the bye week has helped the Packers, so it should help our prognosticators, and even though the Packers are matched up against an undefeated Titans team, this week our gang of four have all picked the Packers to give Tennesse their first defeat of the NFL season. Go Pack! |

Spew Off Speak Out...
Talking about football means not much... and making a mountain out of a mole hill about it doesn't either. But the media needs it's meat. You can't blame Brett Favre for anything the Packers do wrong (or right) this year! And again, I like Aaron Rodgers! I just don't think the Pack need the distraction of Nothingland.Beerscout You can still vote for MM and NC:

Speak Out Spew Off...
Just in case some of you are trying to hide your head in the sand over what BF has been saying to other NFL teams since he left the Packers, former Packers Safety Leroy Butler had this to add to a WSSP Radio interview with Fox Sports' Jay Glazer (reported by Rob Demovsky at GB Press Gazette)
...former Packers safety LeRoy Butler said he doesn't believe Favre initiated the conversation with the Lions. "Brett didn't do a whole lot of calling around," Butler told WSSP. "People called him, and he loves to talk and the phone was passed around." Butler also said there are "other stories that are going to come out" about Favre. "This is just the beginning," Butler said. "This is only the smallest one." Butler did not elaborate. -- Rob Demovsky So be prepared for more stuff from a has-been loser who still can't shut up his mouth to save his legacy in Wisconsin, but then, maybe us Packers fans never mattered to him, maybe BF feels the bridges need to be burned forever. I judge a man by the actions behind his words... UPDATE: No longer care about someone who is no longer associated with this year's current team... BeerKid - Still Pack For Life! |
| ______________________ Gotta say now, having read Leroy's comments in his game review in the Milwaukee paper, my happy inclination is to say this story amounts to nothing, does not make what Glazer said untrue, just that Brett not surprisingly has alot of friends, and even if he wanted to reveal things that could hurt the Packers, his chances would be slim and none. Thank you 36 for putting this hideous story in practical terms. I won't worry about other stories coming out til I see them and put Brett to the flame again. PS - Brett Favre showed this afternoon at his press conference why he will always be a much bigger man than me. ray ______________________ The day BF made the comment that it wasn't his job to mentor Rodgers, is the day the halo came off BF in my eyes! I've said it from the beginning of this mess, it was not right to throw a coach (assistant) under the bus, by quoting him on the Greta interviews. I thought that was the lowest BF would go..I guess not. If the Lions story is proved true..and if what Butler says happens..Then I'm not so sure I want to retire his jersey or hang his name in the hallowed stadium any time in the near future. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought he would stoop to this level of childishness! He's not only undermining the team, but he is alienating himself from the fans, which he does not want to do. While we may not always agree with TT or MM, at this point I believe they are acting with more class than BF!! KS Packer Backer ______________________ I have this odd sense Favre has a publicist who is helping him write another book. It makes sense as he is lock jawed on all the garbage that has happened to a would be legend. Plus it's not in the Packers best interest to throw the train in reverse. He would have a best seller. Hell Jose Canseco did it. Brett if you want to air dirty laundry go on Springer. You should be ashamed if this holds water. Not only have you shafted your lather year teammates you did the same to Edgar Bennent & Leroy Butler your old school teammates. Bonita should slap you a good one. LiferPackfan ______________________ hey although favre is wrong if he told the lions anything about the pack lets not forget our franchise is a 60's team without favre he is the face of our franchise and frankily his years with the packers could have been better if i dont know we got moss for umm a 3rd round pick instead our first round was on justin harrel!!! wow andy ______________________ http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/10/22/favre-admits-to-strategy-session-with-millen/ Looks to me this story is true. FAVRE the scum bag Admitted it. Jp ______________________ interesting scene on packerpalace. you talk about favre "allegedly" talking about "nuances" and "prepping" with the Lions based on Glazer's unnamed sources. where have all the favre-lovers gone? seemed to have jumped ship as quickly as glazer could type out the words to his "yellow journalistic story". honestly, don't ask me to cover any of your backs. i wouldn't trust most of you with my life. ex-Packer Backer...GO JETS! GO FAVRE jeff ircink ______________________ So I'm watching NFL news or whatever, and heres the latest on ol'whats his name..bf,he says he didn't tell any secrets about us to our rivals because he hasn't been involved with the offense for about a year?!...DUDE you still don't get it!!!You DO NOT date your buddys ex!!!Or drink his last brew(unless your headind out the door to the store!)But still. He also claims that that toni romo called HIM for advise not the other way around.A message to romo..Watch your girl around favre man that guy cannot be trusted(plus your chick is slightly scandalous) GO Arron ROUSE keep kickin' that ass! GO PACK GO!!!!! you suck bears. Big Ern said so!!!! ______________________ Okay. Sometimes I think Glazer embellishes a bit on his 'stories', you know what, he makes a lot of sh#t up. Then again this one I don't even think I could have made up. Number 4 spoke to the Lions, during the game? Who cares? We won. Number 4 wants to speak to everyone on the Packers schedule, fine. I could give a sh#t. Do your best. All I have to say is if this whole sordid affair is true TT and MM must have done something really crazy to Favre. Maybe took a dump in his locker? How about put his SB ring on Ebay? He might have had a let's honor John Elway's first Super Bowl ring party? Or maybe did not let him report to the team for training camp? Or kicked him out of the stadium? I know what it was, TT traded him to the crappy Jets. Yeah that is it. That would suck. Either way I am not putting my Favre stuff on Ebay, I am not going to denounce him and everything he accomplished in Green and Gold, I am just going to keep on cheering for AA Rod and the rest of the boys. Oh, I am also going to watch the game next Sunday and try to guess which guy on the Titans sideline is talking to Favre. Is there a drinking game in this? Who knows. Go Pack Go!!! Hamilton aka Sign Boy ______________________Here's a solution to everything. I think Favre needs to retire from football and help solve the Fields epidemic around Mississippi. all i have to say Brett who loves mowing lawn is the real deal to do the job. Hes experience and he does it all the time. I think he actually does it even if the lawn is already cut. He just loves his tractor that much don't see him ever getting off it. So to say favre sucks at lawn mowing is ludicrous. I think if Favre stayed retired he could enjoy cutting other peoples lawns to have fun making more income. Which will solve the field epidemic. The Fields Need Favre and its time they get him. JP Hey JP, that's a very nice solution to the current "knife in the back" activity that's currently going on.... The Fields of Mississippi are calling for BF... to have their grass cut. heh heheh heh eh BK ______________________ I love football. I love the PACKERS. I am so glad the season is in FULL swing with all the crap with former players, trades and injuries it's easy to lose track of why we watch the game... Because it's healthy competition and rivalry's, it's watching men with extra-ordinary ability vs. each other, BEER and good times!!! GO PACK GO!! P.S I got a job. Also regarding Favres recent allegations of indiscretion ie. "runnin' his soup cooler" to the lowly lions and possibly others, isn't playing for the jets punishment enough?!The only thing worse would be being Brett Favre and not being taken back by the MIGHTY GREEN BAY PACKERS!! So go on son talk to who'll ever listen, the page has turned. Big Ern said so!!!! Hey Big Ern, good news on the job hunt---I've yet to begin mine... BK ______________________ Is there any doubt now that BF is a total asshole? BeerKid called it during the soap opera this summer. It is really telling that none of his teammates have said that he would never do anything like that. An I used to kinda like the Jets. Salt Lake Cheese Hey SLC, thanks, but I was secretly hoping to be proven wrong the whole time... instead of being laid to rest, the controversy only seems to be expanding... I had sort of, kind of, gotten over BF finally, I was actually rooting for the Jets to beat tha' Raiders... and the Pack win big, partytime, and then I come home to this BF Crap all over again... and then Leroy Butler hints and teases that it is worse then what we've heard already. I want all of it exposed to the light of day... BK BeerKid - We were probably all hoping that all the BF crap was just that - crap. But it apparently isn't. Does this guy have a brain cell left or were all they victimized by vicoden? And hear, hear for JP and the Fields solution. Salt Lake Cheese ______________________ |

Packers 1st Place NFC North!!! 4-3...
| It's Packers Game Day, and we're off to The Daily Pint again, a place that carried us to Victory over the 'Hawks last week, we're hoping for more of the same today against the Colts. Expect some fireworks, it going to be an offensive game-plan for both teams, where the Colts offense may have an edge over the Packers offense, the opposite is true for the Defenses, the Packers D has the edge. Should be a great game. Go Pack Go! Update: A horse is a horse of course of course and this horse had 2 INT's, and the Packers had 2 TD's. I heard cries for "Where's Sorgi?" Ok, I didn't, but one could imagine it after Mr. "Peyton worse game of my career thanks to the Packer D Manning" Ed and the Colts lost big-time 34-14 to the Packers. Our genuine 100% authentic thanks to Chimay and Mr. Ed for contributing heavily to the Packers win. Another Update: So did he or didn't he? If BF did talk to the Lions about the nuances of the Packers Offense before their game earlier this year I'll go with what Jim Rome said this morning on his radio show, "it may not be a criminal act, but it's still a 'violation'." It didn't help the Lions, but who else did BF talk to or now by extension the Lions staff. The Bucc's? The Falcons? The Cowboys? The Packers lost those games. Like Rome said, not a felony, but still a violation (of honor, a fan's trust, whatever... you all can fill in the blanks.) Waiting for more info... Bigger Update: Straight from Jay Glazer's interview with Jim Rome. Glazer stands behind his story 1000%, started with ex-Lion GM Matt Millen's (how curious is it that he was fired during this time, hmmmm...) invitation to go hunting in Pennsylvania. BF returned the call the week leading up the Lions-Packers game. Glazer followed up 2 weeks ago on reports that BF talked to several teams, by talking to each of those teams, and 2 of those confirmed that the Lions staff had talked to BF, (i.e. Lions Staff had talked to these 2 teams Staff about BF's info on the Packers). Waiting to hear more... which I'm sure will come later today when I tune in to listen live to Sportline with Chris Havel over at WDUZ the Fan at 4pm CST. BeerKid - Still Pack For Life! |
| ______________________ "So full of shit it is squirting out your ears?" The visual is priceless, and the sentiment precise. Keep up the great work!! Scott - "Formerly Drunk On Water Street" ______________________ We seriously need to prevent this guy from getting his number retired - I can't believe I just wrote that. Eli Hey Eli, eventually all this will be by-gones, and BF will get the sleepy old legend retirement his football-playing ways have always deserved. Some of us want it sooner rather than later... BK ______________________ Does anyone have any proof of this or is this only a rumor? JP Hey JP, who knows for sure, we have Jay Glazer of FOX breaking the story yesterday, and so far today, not backing down from his report. We have Jason Wilde of Wisc. State Journal who confirmed the story through two "unnamed" sources. We have the head coach of the Lions, Rod Marinelli saying "no comment". We know that BF has a vindictive streak a thousand miles long, just based on him wanting to play for the Vikes so he could stick it to the Pack. Oh, his "total BS" text message to CNNSI's Peter King last night, that's the same "total BS" text message he sent out in July claiming he had no intentions to un-retire. We know what a total lie that was... so who knows where this will lead, truth or rumor, who knows. BK ______________________ Talk about a fantastic performance when it was needed the most. Well done, gentlemen! I can't say enough about the pass defense. Collins, Rouse, and Tramon Williams are playing great--take your time healing that spleen, Al. Woodson has been fantastic all year. If they could get more pass rush, they'd be impossible to pass against. Let's get healthy during the bye and roll in November! PS, our 4-mer QB is proving yet again that he is a big-mouthed jerk. Rot in H-E-L-L, HELL! HELL! HELL! Ruppert ______________________ Obviously the BF story is another case of Thompson trying to destroy Favre's good name. Thompson should be ashamed of himself, and so should all Packer fans for buying into this crap! jonny c Hey Jonny C, your so full of shit it's squirting out your ears. Don't believe Glazer's story? Fine, where is your proof that TT is damaging BF's image by being the "source" for this story. BF is doing this all on his own, and it's been obvious to me for years that BF never puts the team first. Go read Cullen Jenkins or Charles Woodson's quotes on BF - then maybe you'll have the chance to step up and out of the shit that you and BF-fanboy's are standing shoulder deep in... BF is no longer a class act, I mean compare him to the former Packers on the Vikqueens - Sharper, Longwell, Ferguson - no stories about them pulling shit to embarrass the Packers front office 'cept by their play on the field. BF has reduced himself to be a has-been loser, and the mask has slipped for all to finally see. BK ______________________ In regards to the Favre-Lions-Gate.... They always said Brett Favre only knows how to play the game one way "Like a Little Kid" I guess that holds water even more now. That's a shyster move! LiferPackfan ______________________ Who is this Brett Favre that they speak of? Lions need more help then an 80 year old nfl qb can give them. GO A-RODGE!!! ______________________ Well so much for my interest in Ty Law. Well done boys, well done. But on to this pressing Favre business, apparently true. When the truth of the situation is finally revealed, the amount of ass kissing that TT could request, but would have to much class to require is staggering. He truly is too good for an enormous swath of Packer fans, who need to be set down squarely in the seventies and eighties with quick fix reaches for the likes of John Hadl and JJ Jefferson. Trust me, your best bet as regards TT is to keep your mouth shut, or remove any doubt as to your level of intelligence by opening it. Wanting to still play, even at the expense of spouting questionable "truths" to an enamored public is one thing, TREASON, aye, that is quite another. I have said it before, and will again, greatest Packer qb, and people shouted me down last year for this, remains 5 time NFL champion Bart Starr, and greatest overall player is Don Hutson. ray ______________________ More fodder in the ongoing Brett Favre saga. Jay Glazer reports our ex-beloved talked with Millen and Lions coaches giving the Lions inside Packers information: Glazer's Edge Video - How BF helped the Lions. Favre = Neidermeyer = DEAD! Keg Man Hey Keg Man, your right, BF dead. Giving help to the Lions with a 90 minute phone (at 1:20 mark) call is sort of, kind of makes you not a Packer anymore. I don't know how anyone can keep defending this has-been loser... but your certainly welcome to keep trying. BK ______________________ Hey, If this (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/10/19/favre-helped-lions-prepare-for-packers/)is true, I'm already burning all of the jerseys I have. We should NOT retire this asshole's number. Eli Hey Eli, your welcome to borrow my lighter to get the flames going... after all, who cares the f**k about the Jets. BK ______________________ Gentlemen... I hope the pack get pounded today. If the pack win and the vikes lose I will eat some wax paper from any local restaurant of your choosing. HuskerfaninVikingland ______________________ Dear Huskerfaninviqueenland, I have the very restaurant you'll be dining from... Curlys at the stadium! Wear your prettiest purple! But seriously good luck with the bears, how is the view from WAY down there?! Big Ern said so!!!! ______________________ HuskerfaninVikingland, Would you like fries with that........... Robey from Bama ______________________ Does any restaurant in Green Bay serve crow amd/or humble pie? If there's any, let me know and I'll pay for HuskerfaninVikingland's dinner. Go Pack Go! African Packer ______________________ Hey HuskerfaninVikingland, Enjoy that wax paper and eat some crow while you're at it. Greg T, Minneapolis/St. Paul ______________________ While I generally have been, if not lock step w TT on his free agent choices or lack there of (in particular Randy Moss, I just have a personal huge problem w his south end zone routine of a few years back, I feel I would be insulting Lombardi's teams to take him on, crazy I know) I have to wonder if it may not be worth looking at Ty Law if he was willing to come in here as (hopefully) a soon to be back up upon Al Harris' return. Having said that I have near total faith in TT's talent and character assessments, (including drafting Justin Harrell at that point in the draft, given what position he plays, did not look bad at all at the end of last year, his injuries were certainly considered in his assessment, I believe the correct choice was made, ditto Tony Gonzalez) ray ______________________where's my al harris interview? michelle Hey Michelle, great to hear from you... This might be the easiest link for you to reference - http://www.packerpalace.com/palace08/espys-m.html, it's the picture page, but the interview link is on there. Otherwise, here's the direct interview link - http://www.packerpalace.com/multimedia/Al-Harris-Backstage-with-Michelle.mp3 - Great stuff Michelle, thanks for allowing us to share your work. We want more... BK ______________________ Hey BeerKid............. Get ready for a solid dose of that 2-5 defense this weekend. If Indy can't run too well, it's the perfect time to use it!!! Could be a huge win to propel them through the rest of the season with some confidence. Don't think it'll be easy though, but winnable I think. Long Live the Pack!!!! ______________________ Hello fellow Packer Fans, My Name is Barry B, I live in Columbus Ohio. I'm on a mission this year to get Nick Barnett onto the starting roster of the NFC Pro Bowl. He's made the alternate roster 4 times but hasn't made the starting roster. Voting has started on www.nfl.com for the pro bowl. If you would be willing to pass this information along to any other Packer Fans you know and get them to vote, I think we can make a difference this year. Thanks for your time, and GO PACK GO!!!! Barry B ______________________ WOW!! About the only thing that Packers bathroom needs is some Vikings toilet paper!! Coach Carl Hey Coach... I agree, some Vikqueens Wiping paper would add a nice touch, now the gatorade bucket needs to substituted out, but this is what a "proper" throne room is all about. BK ______________________ Is that A-Rodge leading all fantasy scorers!!!??Fan #103 Hey Fan, he certainly is leading in fantasy scoring amongst women... check what we had to create for our sisters... Tibetan prayer flags and ab's... BK ______________________ I believe this is the turning point. Packers will pull it together and defeat the Colts. My hope is that we put on a pass rush with blitzes as I saw in training camp. I was disappointed we could not get Tony Gonzales for a second round pick. He actually wanted to come to Green Bay. He would have been a great upgrade. A good match up against the colts will be Tramon Williams vs, Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne. Tramon Williams is Al Harris replacement. Go Pack GO packman ______________________ Heh, I'm actually kinda glad you posted "Yo Momma's" comment. I was in need of a good laugh. See you in the playoffs... oh wait... nevermind! The Bear's Still Suck ______________________ Justin Harrell was injury prone in college and has rarely suited up as a pro. I don't know if Harrell has "accepted his problems as a man" but I do know he better do something radically different than he has up to this point. Bottomline, he has been a complete bust as a Packer. I to hope he finds his manhood this weekend. Go Pack!! Packers by 10 over Indy P.S. I'll save my blitz for all politicians!! Capitalism will always be better than Socialism. CAMP Hey Camp, If Harrell can't deliver something this week against the Colts, then gee-whiz, when will he... TT's philosophy seems to be 'Draft them in the 1st round today, play them in 3 years tomorrow', Hawk is the only exception so far. BK ______________________ I got a good quality gut feeling that the Green Bay wake up call, extending through the end of the year, has just been received and accepted. Also I believe that Justin Harrell has accepted his problems as a man, and TT will yet be absolved of guilt in his choice, although you can also bet that the naysayers will not admit they were wrong and toss TT a long overdue bone. Finally the way this season is shaking down, can anyone really say that the possibility of a Packer/Jet Super Bowl is a pipe dream? I know the Pack has looked average at best to this point, young guys are getting valuable experience while guys are injured. Re I saw third string Charlie Peprah make two form tackles at the end of the Seattle game, I am loving that, and I believe the Packers are going to be getting real angry starting about... NOW. And finally if this anger is somehow brought to bare against Brett in a Super Bowl. All I can say is for Brett's sake I hope there turns to be an element of truth to some of the words he has spoken (to this point I have seen no evidence of this), or there will be a massive comeuppance to our old hero in this admittedly imagined scenario. Go Packers, Go TT, I believe and I am certain you do to. Now can any of you bastards give a 52 year old man a damn job? There are about to be hundreds of thousands of very bitter people my age looking to take it out on people who fly private jets and sit in privileged areas, often in large part through the efforts of people like me who ain't got nothin left to lose and we will be calling for an all out blitz on people like Jack Welch at GE, and various CEO's off Wall St where I was used for 25 years. There was a song years ago called "Shouldn't have took more than you gave." Aye. For the moment I will use the Packers as my violence outlet. For the moment. ray Hey Ray, my violence outlet is playing PlayStation2, either of God of War I or II games, great stress release, sort of keeps me out of trouble. Then by the time the Packers game is on I can sit back and relax and cheer, jeer, or continue drinking in heavy moderation without multiple incidences. ______________________ GREEN BAY SUCKS!!! GO BEARS!!! YO MOMMA ______________________ I 100% agree with "Ray", about the hand shake thing (see below) it does show true class, no overstated salutes or creepy group dances for us. Also I like our chances against the Colts if we can get the Defense on line and stall their run and get to Ellimaes brother and put him on his ear-hole we'll win! ......Oh yeah You Suck bears. Presaging Packer Prognosticators...
| Riding the wave of optimism that flushed out of Seattle last week and brings the Packers home to Lambeau Field to face Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. So without delay we try to continue our fine tradition of providing pro football analysis from somewhere out there and beyond out there eh, and this week it's time for us to present to you: |
![]() | I like Peyton and his commercials, but isn't it obvious, the more we drink the easier it is for the Packers to win. So in the obnoxious and divine inspiration provided by Nikki at The Daily Pint last week, drink drink drink, drink the Packers to victory. It put me in 1st place after only one week of trying! Girl With 3 Beers | ![]() | Impressive! Most impressive! The ability to destroy the Colts is insignificant next to the power of the G-Force. The Colts losing to the Pack in Lambeau, you are unwise to doubt. This surviving PackerLord has fore-seen it. Darth Vincent |
![]() | Q: Will the Indianapolis Colts win on the road in Green Bay? A: Better not tell you now. Outlook not so good. The Golden Magic G-Ball | ![]() | Time to drag the ol' crystal ball back out from behind the empty cases of beer and divine out for you what will happen this week in the Packers Colts game. It's a bit smokey, but I think I see it now, yes it's Drink! Beer! Now! Definitely it's Drink! Beer! Now! that I can see clearly. Hold on hold on, keep your beer-goggles down, I can and will translate this for you. Drink! Beer! Now! simply means the Packers win at home. Easy said and easy done, something like 29-25. Beer Kid |
After a successful week in Seattle all 4 of this week's presagin' Packer Prognosticators going with the Packers to handle the Colts in Green Bay. |

| ____________________________ Anybody else lovin' this standard gentleman's handshake, it seems like the D-backs may have started it, like Carrol Dale, Boyd Dowler style. I have been really hoping someone would do this for about 20 years, and hopefully a Packer, as I believe that sort of understated behavior is a good fit in Green Bay. With the development of certain celebrations in the last 35 years, like even for a tackle, I have long held that to be truly outrageous would require going back to merely handing the ball to the ref. Anyway I think its pretty cool. Also very glad the man running gb is TT and not Jerry Jones. Like anybody else obviously wanted Brett to stay, but I still hold Green Bay's GM is as astute as there is in the game, and from what is publicly known in the Brett situation, without guilt, only guilty of imagined scenarios on behalf of understandably disappointed fans. ray Hey ray, John (John of Alisha, John, Nikki, Sara, Ed, Shane and Brent at the Daily Pint) noticed this and was also impressed, he asked me after the game when that had started. It's actually funny that the Packers D-Backs are trying to get around the restricted group celebrations that the NFL imposes, so the gentleman's handshake is where it's at. It does look professional. Lemondrop Hey Lemondrop, I just love the mudduck firealarm, aka "the Packer fan's guide to enjoying life and eating popcorn while forces opposed to you go down in flames". The TT pinata's would have made a whole lot more money if you had brought them out to the market for sale a few months ago... but I do know people who still want to take a swing or two... BK lol... Well now, that Mudduck stuff is funny all the time! But I am trying to see if anyone is interested in the TT Pinata? even tho Rodgers is doing ok? I could be making some money here BK... ahem. LD I love the pinata!! After the failed attempt to bring in (Tony) Gonzalez where do I get one?? LD Wait? I thought YOU were offering the TT Pinata to all of us so we could take swings ____________________________ Hey BK. Just a reminder, Click for Cans really needs our attention this week. The NFC is obviously the more talented Conference this season but wow are the injury bugs mounting all around the NFC. Anyone can beat anyone it seems. Unless you get those no talent @ss clown officials..cough cough Minn game. Anyway, Indy let's hope they forget to show up this week. We want to have some consistency. Let's go Pack! LiferPackfan ____________________________ Hey BeerKid, Congrats on another award, well deserved!! Chris is right, big racks are always a nice thing!! Now, back to bid-ness ... Yesterdays game was a well deserved and much needed win, there is no doubt about it. But I have to wonder what Coach Mike "Not in the right mind set" McCarthy was thinking when he sent our only chance of postseason action (a.k.a. Aaron "Buck" Rodgers - with a bad wing and all) up the middle not once, not twice but three times during the game?? I have to admit I was hitting my cold and frosty for a well needed pull after he tucked the ball and headed into each pile of Seattle humanity. Let's head into our bye week with another W against "Satan Manning" (That's what New England fans call him) and have everyone heal up and hopefully see some of our starters back in the game. So let's continue to kick ass and take names onto another NFC North Division Title. GO PACK GO!!PACKER PAUL - Minneapolis, MN. ____________________________ The Packers have struggled a bit so far this year, but it seems obvious that Aaron Rogers is not to blame. He has done very well for a "rookie" who has not had much game time until now. He is cool under pressure and appears to have all the tools of a great leader. Toughness, self-sacrifice, supportive of teammates, careful speaker, good decision maker. He has avoided getting into trouble and have you ever seen a more perfect pass than the one he tossed to Jennings on the TD. In all the years of watching Favre, I was totally blown away by the sweetness of that pass. Favre had a different style, but Rogers is starting out with a pretty strong performance. The season is young and the Packers have some nicks, but other than the Giants, I don't see anyone who is head and shoulders above the Pack. draft fan ____________________________ A win! Happy happy, joy joy! Now it's Indy. I just can't wait to see the Tramon Williams/Marvin Harrison matchup on the outside!! And a special thanks to the Bears for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. HA!!!!!! PS, BK, I think Thompson wants to build a team full of, well...Ted Thompsons. You know, low round picks that manage to hang around for 10 years by being just good enough not to get cut, and playing special teams. Go Packers!!! Packers 1st Place NFC North!!! 3-3...
Here's the moment that TT has been waiting for, his whole draft strategy, his whole reason for being the GM of the Packers. Are his scrubs better than the Seahawks scrubs? When injuries hit a NFL team hard, it comes down to the backups. There may not be two teams that have more injury-games lost this year. So it's the reason for TT's being alive, when push comes to shove will his players rise to the occasion and show him to be the genius that he is. I'm trying not to be sarcastic here... OK I am, but if the Packers GM doesn't believe in bringing in playmakers to enhance the team and make them strong playoff contenders, then he must be building the team for the day that it's backups vs backups... His odd moment to shine. Funny part, today our Packer scrubs are better than the other team's... and how does that old quote go, "an ugly win is an ugly win is an ugly win no matter who's on the field". That's exactly how it goes... Update: Packers roll 27-17 and... well today's entertainment was brought to me by our hosts The Daily Pint with Alisha the Bartender providing all the key essentials, Nikki, John, Shane, Brent, Ed, Sara and few others I'd name but the effects of the 1st Chimay Triple, a Bloody Mary for support of the 2nd, a dive off into a Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale (Redhook's Nut Brown Ale is much much better) and back to Chimay Triple's tripled... and then post-game started with Stone Ruination Ale I'd had to claim back and finish consuming from Nikki after she lost control of the 22oz bottle, you know, penalized for spillage on the carpet. All in all a a grand time, which fully devolved into some kind of wonderful melee, and I did notice, really I did, that the Packers cruised to a 2nd half victory over the Seahawks, but otherwise I was deeply involved with a some-what drunken wonderful melee. Winning just makes you thirsty for more. BeerKid - Still Pack For Life! |

Hey BeerKid...I know we have a lot of TT supporters, but this is how I feel right now.
GO PACK GO! PACKER PAUL - Minneapolis, MN. Hey Packer Paul, thanks for the cheap laugh, and don't add to the confusion that BF was injury-free during his current consecutive starting streak, he played through his injuries as if they weren't there and we all just got used to that toughness. BK |

Thanks TT, for nothing. Hamilton aka Sign Boy _____________________________ Ive gotta question, Do you think that If AR was offered an extension on his contract now that he would resign with the Packers? I mean he looks credible enough right now. But, Do you think he wants to continue playing for the Packers. Farve fiasco, Needs just about a whole new o-line in front of him, so he doesn't get killed trying to ply his craft. He could just play out his contract and more than probably get a better deal someplace else. A more competitive team... Just a thought. chilwil86 Hey ChilWil, I'm not sure any team in the league really offers any QB the pass-protection that makes the grass look greener (OK, Dallas with their huge lineman) and all it takes is an injury, a free agent defection, or similar and the QB is back to having an un-certain line. You always take the money... BK _____________________________ Has anyone noticed on Chunky.com that the Steelers are putting up some pretty sick numbers? Presaging Packer Prognosticators...
| Well, after three consecutive weeks of draggin' the Packers down the drain with our presagin' Packer Prognosticators, we decided to come back anyway and wreck some more havoc through-out the football world and cheesehead nation. So with that in mind, we continue our fine tradition of providing football analysis from out there and beyond there eh, and this week breaking down the Packers vs Seahawks game in Seattle we at Packer Palace present: |
![]() | I can usually say that my analysis is always guided by a team's colors, or by the butts of their key players, but c'mon, coffee from Seattle or beer from Wisconsin? I go with beer every time... so go against the Starbucks, oopsie, the Seahawks. Girl With 3 Beers | ![]() | Finally! A different Inksplotch to read... Woah, I don't know what it looks like to you, but it looks like 2 big scary Packer D-Linemen coming in to sack Matt Hasselback to me. Seattle Seahawks lose at home. Rory T. Est |
![]() | I've spent a long day considering this matchup, watching the sun arc across the sky in it's slow dance with time, and examining the smoke rise from the small ritual wood fire that keeps my cheddar fondue ready to serve, and this week, the smoke signals do not favor the Seahawks. Chief Cheesehead | ![]() | No excuses here, but somebody put something in one of my 27 drinks last week... This week with some sparks of the Packers running game now appearing, and AR can throw for 300 yards with his sore shoulder, if needed again, all it will take is a penalty and mistake free game and the Pack should roll... 27-20. Drink! Beer! Now! Beer Kid |
| Looks like the Pack is soon to be back on track, with all 4 of this week's presagin' Packer Prognosticators going against the Seahawks and expecting the Packers to win on the road and save their struggling season. |

How's Your 401-KEG Plan Working...
This was a nice post game diversion...
But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the aluminum cans for recycling refund, you will have received $214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment plan is to drink heavily & recycle. It is called the 401-KEG. A recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means that, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon! Makes you proud to be an American! Boz |

Packers 2nd Place NFC North!!! 2-3...
We won't hear until before game time if AR is ready to roll or not... and did I just see that backup QB Matt Flynn's nickname is "Ironhead". Hah, I like that. Injuries always take away a team's chances for a successful season, but it still comes down to the Coach calling the game with the talent he has. Time for MM to step up and win today's winnable game against the Falcons.Imagine my surprise when my choice of beers came down to a Chimay Triple or a Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale at my local neighborhood brick store, and I went with the... Bastard Ale. Stone Brewery has slowly been stealing my barley 'n hops allegiance... No complaints so far. UPDATE: The day was capped off with the old stand by quote uttered by yours truly on that 3rd and 19 play in the 4th quarter... "throw the ball down the field (for an INT) like Brett Favre does" and zappo whammo presto!!! It happens. Everything on offense looked OK, things on defense didn't look very good at all. Pack lose 24-27 to Atlanta due to many things unrelated to AR's shoulder, oh hell I'll say it, way too many penalties and some pretty shoddy tackling by the Defense and all around un-imaginative (bad) play calling from all the Packers coaches. BeerKid - Still Pack For Life! |
| _________________________ Another tough loss, and the Sudsman predicts the Ted haters will be out in full force, again wishing Favre was back. Yeah, Brett would have made all the difference yesterday. Rodgers only threw for 300+ yards and 3 TDs with a damaged shoulder. (The INT was Favre-like, I must say.) But of course, had Brett been there he would have:
- covered Roddy Smith - eliminated holding penalties - played with a better "pad level" |
![]() | What would Brett Favre do If he were here right now? He'd throw a pass and he'd catch it too That's what Brett Favre would do When the Packers are in trouble And need a field goal He'll kick it 77 yards Wearing a blindfold When Brett Favre sacks the quarterback He does the Lambeau Leap | After recovering the football From the bottom of the heap And when Brett Favre plays bump and run He covers two guys like glue He'll stop Michael Turner too That's what Brett Favre would do Maybe even kick an ass or two That's what Brett Favre would do That's what Brett Favre would DO!! |

The Packer Remote...
It's always one thing to try and predict what the Packers are going to do each week. Injuries always contribute the most to this imprecision, and so many other factors are involved it boggles the unprepared mind, so it usually comes down to gut-instinct guess on which team will prevail on any given day, it's why they play the game. It's quite another thing to actually control the outcome. It has been done. By me.Take last year, you want to know why the Packers did so well? It's quite simple, Lemondrop sent me this Packers remote. It was quite functional, worked as needed. The opening game was in doubt, I was able to get the Packers into FG range, a surprising win over the Eagles to start last year. Week after week I used the remote during the game. It was beautiful, it was awkward, it played like an upside down 12-string guitar, but I was learning. Ran into some trouble during the 1st Bears game, lost the Cowboys game when I forgot to program in the backup QB function during pre-game. After the 2nd Bears loss due to insufficient power, and cold weather, I had the batteries fine-tuned and upgraded specifically for the Playoffs. I was in control, it was a dream season, the Packers were sitting at 14-3 and hosting the NFC Championship game... what could go wrong? The Giants came to play, I fought hard, the remote did what it needed but it was like someone was fighting back, (my suspicions are that a NYG remote is out there somewhere, how ELSE do you explain them winning the SB) and the game drove into overtime. To my shame, this is the first time I'm telling all of you, that fateful moment, the play. I pressed "PASS" and then just as BF dropped back, the remote slipped from my hand. I should have let it drop, but no, I reached for it, bobbled it, and then triumphantly clutched it between my forefinger and thumb, with no beer spilled, but here it is, to my horror my thumb was pressed down hard on the "INT" button and sure enough, well most of you are aware of how the tale ends, no matter how many times I pressed the combo "TACKLE" + "FUM" to stop them on the ensuing series, the NY Giants got their overtime FG and the right to go the Super Bowl. I haven't touched the remote since... it took me and the Packers almost to the very top last year, and then left us all cold, crumpled, collapsed and bleeding on the frozen sidewalk, the damned thing is for sale. Anyone interested? Batteries NOT included! BeerKid - Still Pack For Life! |

Eat Mor Falkin...
Presaging Packer Prognosticators...
| Again, our presagin' Packer Prognosticators are back after two consecutive weeks of getting their Packer predictions wrong. However, now is not the time to give up or lose faith. No, its time to double down, and with the barely-above-hapless Falcons coming into Green Bay this Sunday, the Packers are looking to get back on the winning track. So here we go again, continuing our fine tradition of providing football analysis from out there and beyond there eh, and this time we have for you: |
![]() | I have found so many who's lack of faith is disturbing the G-Force... Rise above your petty grievances, don't give in... trust your feelings in this, the Bears still suck and the Packers will win in Lambeau against the Falcons. This surviving PackerLord has fore-seen it. Darth Vincent | ![]() | Forget the over-analyzing and minutiae of the comings and goings on the football field, it's simply a question of "pound, pound, pound, kill, kill, kill, mine, mine, mine". There is nothing better for a Packers QB than the warm feeling of having a weapon in your hand, I should know, and this Sunday will be no different. Go with the Pack! First Primate |
![]() | When one process fails, you must try another, so nothing gets me away from the table after a fine meal like my 2nd favorite practice, the divination of the future with barley loaves. Oh yes, as the leading Alphitomancer in the football universe, I like liquid bread just as much as your average Joe Six-Pack, and ummmm, hmmmm, this is much better than last week's brew. Hmmmmm, tasty, I like the Pack this week. The Green-Man | ![]() | Now it seems the last few weeks I've haven't quite reached that magical mystical place that means I can see the future clearly... well let me assure you that I'm wasted out of mind right now and I can see the Packers winning in the end, even though they can't stop Turner and the run, and even though they themselves might have a rookie QB running the show. With the smoke clearing away and providing clear sight, the Packers save their asses with a win, 20-17. Beer Kid |
| No surprises here, all 4 of this week's presaging Packer Prognosticators are comfortable in their analysis that they are going with the Green Bay Packers to win the game and move to 3-2 in the NFC North. |

GO PACK GO!!

Hey BeerKid...
This was a nice post game diversion...

We won't hear until before game time if AR is ready to roll or not... and did I just see that backup QB Matt Flynn's nickname is "Ironhead". Hah, I like that. Injuries always take away a team's chances for a successful season, but it still comes down to the Coach calling the game with the talent he has. Time for MM to step up and win today's winnable game against the Falcons.

By me.
