Foxhole RadioSkywriter Video Shoot at Murphy Ranch
(Left to R) Albert (director), Jim (guitar), Shane (guitar), Richard (bass) and Bill (drums)
As the location scout, I was responsible for dragging everyone from the parking location and on to the 1.8 mile hike up up and then down down way down to our main video location. And no, we didn't haul that iron drum kit in with us... although yours truly was responsible for getting that damn 400lb oversized man-hole cover up on it's edge, and then rolled 30 yards to be leaned against a cast-iron kitchen sink for support.

This cool place that is covered with hiking trails is called Murphy Ranch and it does have a bit of dubious
history associated with it. This L.A. Times article is from 1990 - L.A.
Utopia Is Now a Ruin.
Here's another story from the L.A. Times in 2005 on the sordid history of Murphy Ranch: Rustic Canyon Ruin May Be a Former Nazi Compound
